Tamara is a highly engaging and experienced DEI Consultant, Leadership & Wellbeing and EAP Coach with over 20 years’ experience in human resource consulting; cultural change transformation, organisational redesign and workplace mediation. An accredited Interpersonal & Workplace Mediator with over 10 years’ specific international consulting expertise as an HRD specialist with background in Organisational Psychology, Mental Health Wellness and Employee Assistance Counselling and Life coaching. Tamara has founded her own agency Gravitas Consulting services in 2014 in London (UK). Tamara’s work is underpinned by principles of allyship, social justice, equity in participation, inclusion and human rights and has its roots in working with marginalized community and refugee groups in the UK as a Clinical Psychology trainee and a Youth Advocate in early days of her working life. Tamara worked with several UK Charities such as AFRUCA London (UK); WIN (Welcoming Intercultural Neighbours, QLD); and the Equal Employment Opportunity Network (EEON) between 2016-2022 in both board advisory and the committee member roles. Tamara brings empathetic and highly engaging approach to leading conversation in the DEI space working with leaders, senior managers and multiple stakeholders across both private and public sector and large government authorities both in the UK and Australia (such as the Crown Prosecution Service; Waltham Forest Council NE London; Victoria Police); the education sector; construction; manufacturing and the utilities industry – both in Victoria and more recently South Australia. Key highlights in Tamara’s recent work included supporting championing of Employee Networks for Victoria Police, roll out of a number of EAP and Mental Health Wellbeing programs within select SME’s across Australia; roll out of Diversity Roadmap programs; cultural safety and psychological safety workshops; content design and roll out of training in areas of Cultural and Intersectional Diversity mapping; development of Governance frameworks and DEI policies within the utilities, construction and manufacturing SME sector; design and facilitation of ‘Dignity and Respect at work’ for Managers training (EEO; Anti-Harassment and Bullying). Tamara has successfully implemented a complex mediation framework and baseline mediation skills training for managers across select UK government agencies; also, championing change transformation programs focusing on optimal Return to Work and Remote Working practices for large multinational such as Sky British Broadcasting (SKYBnB) as part of ‘All Roles Flex’ strategy. Tamara is fluent in Serbo-Croatian and is a proud parent of 25 year old PhD student. Tamara’s native language is Serbo – Croatian and she has keen interest in learning additional languages, – Turkish and Spanish.
